Important Disclaimer: This guide is based on observed practices from attending multiple Amsterdam Dance Event conferences and general venue policies. ADE does not publish a single unified recording policy that applies across all venues. For official guidance specific to your session, check with venue staff or contact ADE directly at [email protected].
Most producers walk into ADE conference sessions with phones ready, only to get hit with a “no recording” announcement five minutes in. The confusion is understandable, some panels explicitly allow photos, others threaten to remove attendees for filming, and the rules aren’t consistent across venues. Nobody wants to be called out mid-session or inadvertently violate a policy.
Here’s what you need to know about capturing and sharing ADE content based on common venue practices and general conference etiquette.
